eCampus' methodology to obtain your institution's required textbook information is simple. eCampus sends an adoption form to be filled out by your institution's administration that includes detailed instructions. The adoption form can be sent back to eCampus electronically. eCampus can also customize its processes for your particular institution’s needs, such as, connect with your institution’s internal system for automatic electronic data feeds. eCampus works hand-in-hand with each of its partners to customize a solution that works with their particular needs. Once the adopted booklist is finalized, it will be sent to the eCampus Procurement Department for ordering. Our procurement specialists deal directly with publishers and distributors to satisfy the needs of our partner schools. eCampus operates a state-of-the art distribution center that utilizes the latest technology to support all of its customers. While currently running at 30% capacity, the distribution center can easily meet any change in demand.
The eCampus corporate office and 105,000 square foot distribution center are both centrally located in Lexington, Kentucky to service students everywhere with convenience. The distribution center is administered and supported by the latest technology including wireless optical scanners, high-speed conveyors and a well-trained, motivated workforce to get merchandise out the door quickly. Many textbook companies fail miserably when it comes to delivery. Just getting products out of the warehouse can be a challenge if your distribution system is not as sophisticated as your website.
eCampus can provide your institution with many items that go hand-in-hand with textbooks. We can create custom apparel and merchandise, we can obtain custom supplies and we will produce custom printed course materials.
eCampus will obtain any specific supplies needed to go along with a course. As the student chooses their course on the virtual bookstore, the required textbook and the required supply will appear (i.e. a specific calculator required for a math course).
